Account Director
The Short Story
Spitball is looking for an energetic, business-savvy people-person to lead our account team. The Account Director will spearhead our agency-wide approach to Client Service while also driving relationships with senior clients. This is an on-site position in our Red Bank, NJ office.
How Will You Create Impact?
As the Account Director you will passionately:
- Lead the account team to provide highly personalized service with value added business thinking to ensure the best client relationship with Spitball
- Help cross-functional teams develop integrated solutions for diverse brands and their needs
- Collaborate with Director and Executive teams to drive client strategy and agency growth.
- Learn all aspects of our clients’ business to position Spitball as a thought-leader partner to our clients
- Inspire account team and nurture professional growth through a defined plan
- Seek and secure new opportunities to expand our relationships within our client base
- Lead new business pitches
- Oversee schedules across clients to gain efficiencies and avoid delays
- Develop and/or review proposals and client contracts
- Seek to maximize client budgets and agency profitability
- Troubleshoot any client-related issues

- Can win at Solitaire and excel at Pictionary: You are a self-starter who can contribute individually while also getting the most out of their team in a collaborative environment
- Has dirty fingernails but cleans up nice: You aren’t afraid to roll-up your sleeves and dig into the nitty gritty work but also know how to flawlessly articulate the agency POV and work to senior clients
- Never aged out of kindergarten: You have been around the advertising/marketing block with at least 10 years of agency experience but still exude the same childhood energy you had when you entered this crazy profession
