As a leading creative agency in NJ, we have the pleasure of working with a great variety of clients and businesses - which brings with it a great variety of projects. Spitball develops small, local business sites to highly-complex web apps.

Spitball is looking for an experienced, versatile web developer. This position will require you to lead certain projects and be apart of a team for others. This is not an entry level position and requires 5 years of development experience.

As a lead web developer, you will be responsible for all aspects of the development process from initial client engagement and requirements gathering to solution development and final coding. Additionally you will also be required to help support and maintain many of our clients' websites - which include simple content updates, server/software monitoring/upkeep to larger scale content upgrades. Just like playing in the sandbox when you were little, you'll have to play nice with others - especially project managers and designers - to insure all projects are a success.

Platforms we like:
• Standards-based XHTML/CSS, Javascript, PHP, MySQL, XML, AJAX, JSON, CakePHP, MVC, Zend, Django (big plus)

Out of the box "Toys" we've used and you'll need to support
• Drupal, CMSMS, WordPress, PloneCMS, ExpressionEngine, Authorize.Net, PayPal, GoogleCheckout
